The documents, issued by Los Angeles Superior Court, show the felony complaint against the troubled actress.
Count one of the charges states: “On or about 22 January, 2011, in the county of Los Angeles, the crime of grand theft of personal property, in violation of penal code section 487(a), a felony, was committed by Lindsay Lohan, who did unlawfully take money and personal property of a value exceeding twenty-five hundred dollars ($2500, to wit, a necklace the property of Kamofie & Company and Sofia Kaman).”
The court documents are signed by Los Angeles police detective Claudia Castruita and LA district deputy attorney Danette E Meyers.
According to the documents, prosecutors are recommending that bail for the former Mean Girls star should be set at $20,000.
