The 24-year-old actress is currently receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center in California, where she checked in after failing two court-ordered drug tests while on probation. She has been ordered by a judge to stay in the facility until January 3 2011.
According to the website Radar, Lindsay asked for a "day pass" from rehab so she could meet with Matthew Wilder, the director of her upcoming movie Inferno.
Lindsay was then spotted yesterday morning looking “relaxed” with her assistant Eleonore at her exclusive home in West Hollywood.
The talented star is said to be making good progress at the Betty Ford Center. Lindsay’s mother Dina said in an interview with American programme The Today Show earlier this week she had been amazed by how much the treatment has helped her daughter.
Lindsay has been in rehab several times before, but it is only this stint which Dina says has really affected her.
