Lindsay Lohan could face up to eight months in jail after her probation was revoked Wednesday (December 12) in connection with a 2011 jewelry theft case.
She was also arraigned on several misdemeanors tied to a June 2012 car accident in which she allegedly lied to police officers after her Porsche hit a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway, TMZ reports. Lohan didn't appear in court on Wednesday when the judge, Commissioner Jane Godfrey, set her next court date for January 15.
Lohan could end up in jail for as long as 245 days. Her probation was revoked after she was charged with reckless driving, giving false information to a police officer and obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty. She had told officers back in June she wasn't driving, but it was later revealed that she was the person behind the wheel at the time of the accident.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that Lohan is currently in New York City, where she was recently booked on third-degree assault charges after she reportedly punched a woman at Avenue lounge in NYC.
In addition to her legal woes, Lohan has been making headlines in her personal life as she's been traveling around the country with The Wanted. She was with the band last Friday when they took the stage at Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden. At the show, Lohan's rumored beau, The Wanted's Max George told that despite all the trouble she's been in lately "she's a cool girl, she's all right. She's good fun to be around."
