Lindsay Lohan facing legal fine?

Lindsay Lohan may be fined for blowing off questions about an alleged hit and run accident.

The 26-year-old actress - who is set to enter rehab on May 2 after pleading 'no contest' to charges about lying to police about driving during a car crash last June - is reportedly facing further legal trouble after failing to respond to the lawyer of Nubia Del Carmen Preza, who filed a lawsuit against her last year claiming she was hit by the actress' car in September 2010.

A hearing has been set for May 8, which Lindsay is not required to attend, during which a judge will decide whether to fine the troubled starlet for ignoring questions submitted by the nanny's legal team about the incident to help them establish what happened and whether Lindsay was driving the vehicle, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

Nubia alleges she was struck by the 'Mean Girls' star's Maserati while walking through a West Hollywood intersection with a baby stroller.

Preza's lawsuit states she has suffered 'disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish' and that she is seeking damages for all her medical expenses and lost time at work.

Earlier this week Lindsay lost an endorsement deal due to her recent legal troubles.

The 'Canyons' actress landed a lucrative contract with Odaingerous clothing company but the company rescinded their offer after she was ordered to go to rehab in a plea bargain after violating her probation.

Creative Director and CEO of Odaingerous Odain Watson previously said: 'In light of the recent conviction of actress Lindsay Lohan, clothing and lifestyle brand, Odaingerous is officially withdrawing its offer for an endorsement agreement of actress Lindsay Lohan as the face of the brand.
