Lindsay Lohan Gives Max George A Big Hug Backstage In NYC

While the romance between Harry Styles and Taylor Swift may be heating up, it seems like another couple may be on the road to romance as well: Lindsay Lohan and The Wanted's Max George.

The two have been spotted several times together over the past few weeks, and most recently, Lohan was seen at Z100's annual Jingle Ball concert in New York City on December 7, where she was snapped in the audience watching The Wanted perform, and later was caught on camera giving George a big hug backstage.

Rumors that Lohan and George were seeing each other began last month after Lohan was arrested for supposedly punching a woman at Avenue lounge in New York. It was reported that the fight between the two women began over George, but The Wanted's Jay McGuiness recently told that he doesn't believe the fight was about his bandmate.

A week following the incident, Lohan was spotted again with the British-Irish boy band, signing autographs for fans at Philadelphia's Q102 Jingle Ball where the Wanted were performing.

MTV News caught up with The Wanted on the red carpet at New York's Jingle Ball, where they revealed that NYC is now their "favorite city in the world" because "anything can happen." That sentiment certainly has new meaning for George, since it was in New York that he began making headlines with Lohan.

"It wasn't planned or anything," George said, reflecting on the night of Lohan's arrest. "It was one of those things and then obviously something happened that night, which obviously got a lot of attention, but she's a cool girl, she's all right. She's good fun to be around."

On Saturday, Lohan tweeted directly to her rumored beau a photo of his black hoodie, with the caption reading, "Missing something?"
