Lohan is so keen to play Victoria Gotti that she flew to New York for a press conference alongside the real Victoria, despite not being signed on for the part.
'My dad was in jail with the grandfather' she told Page Six, referring to Victoria's dad, late Gambino family boss John Gotti.
In the late 1990s, Lohan's father, Michael, did a four-year stretch in prison, where Lohan says the pair crossed paths. Lohan says she has known the family since she was three years old.
Lohan is itching to restart her career after her stint in rehab.
