Lindsay Lohan Playboy shoot ?inspired by Marilyn Monroe?

Lohan's initial shoot for Playboy had to be scrapped, with some reports claiming that it was because of the poor state of her teeth, which were reportedly chipped and badly stained – and others claiming she went for a Kate Moss-inspired shoot that Hefner is said to have hated.

The 25-year-old actress re-shot the Playboy spread – for which she was reportedly paid $1m – for the January/February issue of the US men’s magazine in between being sentenced to jail and serving just four-and-a-half hours in the slammer.

“The pictures Lindsay took last week are much better than the first set,” a source reportedly told RadarOnline, adding, “the final decision gets made by Hef on which pictures go in the magazine.”

Meanwhile, another source told the New York Post’s Page Six: “[Hefner] felt the initial shots looked too much like a Kate Moss-inspired fashion story – Lindsay’s choice – where he wanted the more classic Hollywood Marilyn Monroe feel.”

Speaking about the new photo-shoot, Hefner confirmed that the former Mean Girls star appears in the spread fully nude, but that it is “very classy'.

Describing the look of the pictures, he told The Insider: 'It's a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy.'
