The 24-year-old actress was reportedly allowed to leave the Betty Ford Centre early this morning to spend the holiday with her father Michael.
A source told TMZ that a 'one-day pass' was granted, but that Lindsay is expected to return to the Rancho Mirage facility later tonight.
The Mean Girls star, who is due to stay in rehab until January once she has combated her drug and alcohol addictions, is also expected to be joined by her friends.
But her mother Dina is said to have turned down an invite from her ex-husband.
