Lindsay Lohan is desperate to star in a musical.
The troubled actress has been attempting to get her career back on track lately, following a string of legal woes. However, her portrayal of Dame Elizabeth Taylor in TV movie Liz & Dick was widely panned and she has been haunted by stories of her difficult antics on the set of her new film The Canyons.
The star is also battling more legal problems after being accused of lying to police about a car crash and assaulting a psychic at a nightclub. However, she is determined to focus on the positive and is making new career plans.
"I'm a singer. I'd love to do a musical. Something like Mamma Mia!" she told Heat magazine.
Lindsay has been in London, UK, recently, after she agreed a rumoured £50,000 fee to appear at a New Year's Eve party. Her stint in the country coincided with the start of reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother and there was intense speculation Lindsay would be taking part.
She has laughed off the rumours. "I'm busy acting," she said.
Lindsay had a famously tough upbringing, with her parents Dina and Michael splitting when she was little. Last week Dina insisted much of her daughter's issues are due to her father, who she also accused of abusing her during their marriage.
She has now insisted Lindsay won't get herself together until she mends her relationship with Michael.
"He sends text messages to Lindsay saying, 'You're a loser,'" Dina claimed to Heat. "She will not be whole until he seeks her forgiveness."
