Fresh from a very successful European tour, Little Man Tate are pleased to announce details of their brand new single and biggest ever UK headline date.
The British indie-rockers, who released their second album, 'Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy', through Skint Records in the late Autumn of 2008, will release a brand new track, 'I Am Alive' on the 23rd March 2009. The track was exclusively written for the Yorkshire Sports Awards after the band were invited to write the official awards theme by the BBC.
'I Am Alive' will be backed by new b-side, 'Little Chicago' on limited edition vinyl and download formats.
The new single will precede Little Man Tate's biggest ever headline show at Rotherham's 4000 capacity Magna (a disused steelworks) on the 28th March, their biggest UK show to date.
Little Man Tate are also offering their fans an exclusive free download from both their MySpace site and official website, of a recent album outtake, 'Jenny Put The Record On'. The MP3 is available from both sites now.
Little Man Tate live:
28th March @ Sheffield, Magna
30th April @ Glasgow, Hinterland Festival
