Mel B is blind in her left eye.
The star found fame with 90s band the Spice Girls and was dubbed Scary Spice because of her outrageous outfits and bold personality.
But, despite still putting on a fierce front now, Mel does have a weakness. Laser eye surgery 15 years ago caused her to lose 50 per cent of her vision.
"I can't see at all out of my left eye. The lasering went wrong so this will be totally life-changing," she told Britain's Hello! magazine of an upcoming procedure to fix the problem.
She won't be having any other alterations while on the operating table though, insisting she shuns Botox or surgery as she wants to have expression on her face.
Mel and her husband Stephen Belafonte have daughter Madison together and she is also a stepmother to her spouse's little girl Giselle. Mel also has daughter Phoenix with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar and another daughter, Angel, with Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy.
She's keen to have one more child before it's too late and revealed she and Stephen would adopt to complete their family if need be.
"We've been talking about it for two years. I'm 40 next year, I want to have one more baby," she explained to the publication.
"I think there are so many kids in the world that we could give a chance to," her husband added.
Mel and her man tied the knot in 2007 and recently Stephen surprised her with a new £20,000 wedding ring following a recording of The X Factor UK, on which Mel is a judge.
"My husband turned up and I thought something was wrong and then he just handed me this massive sparkler of a ring," she recently gushed to British newspaper The Mirror. "I thought, 'Oh my God'. It's so big, it's gorgeous, I absolutely love it."
