Mel B thinks being the new face of Jenny Craig will help her be the 'best mum ever'.
The singer recently welcomed her third daughter into the world and is keen to get back in shape. She is the latest spokesperson for the Australia and New Zealand branch of weight loss program Jenny Craig, and hopes to drop 33lbs.
The star discussed her new regime on Twitter, saying she thinks it will impact all areas of her life.
'Ok all you lot talking about my curves I'm gonna get on the #jenny program,starting today,do join and we can do it together!!' she wrote.
'Hey peeps I love love love my curves,I don't wanna loose them I just want them smaller,and #jenny is gonna help me do that!
'n answer to your questions,every mum wants to feel good about herself,with #jenny it's a no brainer as they do it all for you so you can focus on being the best mum ever (sic)!'
Mel has attended a special breakfast launch in Sydney where she discussed why she wanted to lose weight.
The star is renowned for her toned figure, but allowed herself to indulge while pregnant with five-week-old Madison. She put on quite a lot of weight and now feels ready to drop the pounds.
' love my humps and bumps, but when a newspaper described my shape as the 'bootylicious, curvylicious, post-baby body of Melanie', I knew I had to do something. I had to get the eating under control,' she explained.
According to Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph the 36-year-old currently weighs 165lbs and wants to hit her target weight of 132lbs.
Queen Latifah and Kirstie Alley have previously fronted campaigns by Jenny Craig.
