Melanie 'Mel B' Brown admits she usually "moans" about her husband in therapy sessions.
The 39-year-old former Spice Girls singer has been married to Stephen Belafonte since 2007.
And Melanie has no problem with speaking to counsellors about her marital issues.
"Usually in therapy I b***h and moan about my husband," she revealed on US talk programme The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
But Melanie admits she often acquiesces in minor verbal arguments with her other half.
The star says Stephen simply knows how to return to neutrality after a quarrel over something trivial like what to watch on television.
"Silly things like he likes to sleep with the TV on but I don't as it keeps me awake [is what I moan about]," she explained.
"There is a debate every night. He ends up winning because he ends up putting something that I actually want to I want to watch."
Melanie is currently a host on TV competition, America's Got Talent.
Although she hails from England originally, the star believes the US may offer more talented entertainers than her homeland.
"I would have to say America. It's not just singers. There is talent everywhere here," she declared.
During the interview Melanie, who is mother to four children, debuted her new bob haircut.
And she thinks the coiffure has altered her state of mind tremendously.
"I did it, I finally had the mane chopped," she smiled. "I am still in two minds about it. I feel like a soccer mum."
