Mel B has supposedly been told by her X Factor bosses to "behave".
The 39-year-old Spice Girls singer currently serves as a panellist on the British TV singing competition.
For the judges' houses portion of the show teams are sent to exotic locations across the world to compete.
Fortunately for Mel she's heading to Cancun, Mexico, but she's reportedly been advised to keep it low-key while temporarily residing in one of the biggest party capitals on the planet.
"Bosses have decided to send Mel to Cancun," a source told UK newspaper The Sun. "She loves a good party and Cancun certainly has that reputation. But her contestants will be told they must behave themselves before they get on their flight — and Mel too of course."
Outside of her professional obligations, it's recently been reported Mel is focused on mending familial relationships.
She is rumoured to have fallen out with her younger sister Danielle and her mother Andrea because they don't get along with her husband, Stephen Belafonte, 39.
But now that she is spending more time in the UK working for X Factor, the songstress is apparently attempting to resolve ongoing conflict.
"Mel feels it's time to let bygones be bygones," a source told British newspaper The Daily Star recently. "She's feeling very positive about her career at the moment, and so doesn't want this family rift to keep rearing its ugly head. Hopefully by the end of the year the ladies will all be on good terms again."
