Mel B worries about wrinkles

Mel B worries she needs Botox because her wrinkles are 'ridiculous'.

The British singer is currently a judge on the Australian version of The X Factor. She's gained a reputation for being formidable as she says exactly what she means when it comes to giving the acts feedback.

Mel's facial expressions have also been a source of discussion. She can often be seen screwing up her forehead if she's not sure about a performance, something she knows isn't flattering.

'No [I haven't watched myself on TV] but I am going to get some Botox at some point because my wrinkles are just ridiculous,' she laughed.

Mel thinks it's unfair that she's criticised for being too mean to the performers on the talent television show. She doesn't see the point in lying, insisting the acts will thank her eventually.

'At the end of the day I actually just say exactly what I think, I get it out in the open immediately so I don't have to be moody the whole time,' she laughed to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O.

Kyle was a judge on the programme last year, alongside Guy Sebastian, Ronan Keating and Natalie Imbruglia.

Kyle and Natalie have now left, being replaced by Mel and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.

He warned Mel she might need to watch out for Guy and Ronan as they can be very competitive.

''m a Gemini, I will go Jekyll and Hyde on their asses. They won't stand a chance,' she laughed.
