Metallica have played the third show on their Australian tour before heading to New Zealand and then home to San Francisco.
The band will be clocking up the frequent flyer points on the Australian and New Zealand leg of the World Magnetic tour with their two weeks on, one month off policy.
After starting in Melbourne on Wednesday and Thursday, Metallica played Sydney on September 18 and will perform in New Zealand on Tuesday and Wednesday before flying back to San Fran.
They will return to Australia to start the second part of the tour in Auckland on October 13 and Brisbane October 16 before going back home to San Francisco after the Perth date on October 23.
They will come back to start the third part of the Aussie tour out of Sydney on November 10.
