After months of rumour, Metallica have finally been confirmed to headline the Saturday night of Glastonbury festival - with many more names added to the bill, along with the stage split announced. See the full line-up below.
Yes, it's true - the heavy metal icons Metallica will be gracing the Pyramid Stage on Saturday night of the event, topping the bill alongside Arcade Fire and Kasabian as the first metal band to ever headline Glastonbury in its 44-year history.
Responding to the announcement, Metallica said: "There is such a vibe at Glastonbury…when we finally got that call to visit Worthy Farm, we just had to reply with a resounding “YES!”"
Other acts added to the line-up include Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band, St Vincent, HAIM, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Horrors, The London Sinfonietta & Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) and more.
Kaiser Chiefs, London Grammar and MGMT will be headlining the John Peel Stage, while Skrillex, Jake Bugg and Massive Attack have been named as headliners of the Other Stage, and MIA, Bryan Ferry and Disclosure will be headlining the West Holts Stage.
Glastonbury festival takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 June, 2014.
