The Metal giants take a short break from the studio to visit Roskilde for the first time in 10 years - joining Kraftwerk, The National, Rihanna, Queens Of The Stone Age, Sigur Ros, Slipknot and Volbeat to complete the festival's 2013 headline bill.
It was not on the cards for the undisputed kings of metal to be playing Europe at all this summer, but late in the game, Roskilde have managed to secure an exclusive one-off show with a band that first dominated the event's iconic Orange Stage way back in 1986.
METALLICA (US) will be returning to Roskilde Festival for the first time in 10 years, taking a break from the recording of their next album, James, Lars, Kirk and Robert will be the masters of ceremony on the Orange Stage once more with an exclusive European show for the 2013 festival season.
