Pop star Nicole Scherzinger is rumoured to be dating tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov.
The 37-year-old singer has been single since her on/off relationship with Formula One star Lewis Hamilton ended for good earlier this year (15). It's now been claimed she has moved on to a new sportsman, with Bulgarian tennis star Grigor, 24, said to be her new love interest.
"Nicole is dating Grigor," an insider told Britain's The Sun newspaper. "They're completely besotted with each other. But they've been careful not to be pictured together because they don't want the pressure of the relationship being in the public eye."
The news comes as quite a surprise as Nicole was rumoured to be rekindling things with Lewis, although that speculation may have been prompted after the pair were spotted enjoying an evening out at the same nightclub earlier in November (15). According to an insider, Lewis is aware that his ex has moved on but is struggling to accept it.
"Lewis knows and is very unhappy," the source alleged. "It's made him realise he isn't over her. He's been desperately trying to talk to Nicole over the last few weeks."
Grigor is also getting over the end of a high-profile romance, as his relationship with his fellow tennis star Maria Sharapova finished in July after two years. At the time he insisted there was no bad blood between them as they "experienced wonderful moments together", explaining they simply wanted different things and vowing to focus on his career.
Spokespeople for Nicole and Grigor are yet to comment on the report.
The tennis star isn't the first person Nicole has been linked to this year - she was also rumoured to be romancing British singer Ed Sheeran. As quickly as they were linked came reports they had separated though, with the former Pussycat Dolls star showing her sense of humour by posting a video of herself singing his track Thinking Out Loud on Instagram along with the caption: "nicolescherzy#TotesEmosh (Totally Emotional) that @teddysphotos and I broke up today #OrangeIsntTheNewBlackAnymore #ScherzyLosesItAfterSheeranBreakUp #NoMoreSheerzinger (sic)."
