Nicole Scherzinger gave the Dalai Lama a Hawaiian angel pin.
The former Pussycat Doll has met some amazing people throughout her career and is big news both in the States and the UK.
But she was at her most star-struck when she met some of the world's most influential figures.
"The Pope and the Dalai Lama. I didn't know what to say to them," she admitted to British magazine new!
"I cried meeting the Pope and then I gave the Dalai Lama a little Hula Hawaii angel pin. He looked into my eyes and said, 'Where are you from?'"
Nicole describes the moments as an honour and a blessing, adding that she had no idea how to speak to them.
Mingling with the A-list in contrast feels like no big deal and the 36-year-old joined fellow celebs at Coachella festival in California last month. Fergie, Kendall Jenner and Paris Hilton were all in the crowd, but Nicole will always have a soft spot for the British music events.
"I've been [to Coachella] before. It was cool. Watching Jack White really inspired me. It was fun," she smiled.
"I've never been to Glastonbury, but I like UK festivals more. I just feel more at home in the UK."
But Nicole isn't just spending her time listening to others perform, she's also working on her own music. She hasn't released album Big Fat Lie in the US yet, so she plans to rectify that soon.
