The 32-year-old singer will be forced to spend time apart from her British Formula One star boyfriend when she starts work as the co-host of the new American version of The X Factor.
She is hosting the show along with Welsh TV presenter Steve Jones.
The couple have been dating for the past three years and she admitted that their long-distance relationship is difficult but has to happen as they both have busy careers.
According to UK newspaper The Sun, she said: 'More than a month is too long. I wouldn't wish long distance on anyone.'
