The 32-year-old singer is now one of the world’s biggest stars, having made her name in singing and dancing troupe the Pussycat Dolls, and recently achieving success as a solo artist.
The path to stardom wasn’t easy for Nicole though, and the beauty admits she suffered plenty of rejection at the start of her career, when she was also trying to make it as an actress.
“When I first started out in this business,” replied Nicole when asked by more! magazine what her lowest ever moment was. “I think that was hard – the never-ending vicious cycle of auditions, at times it was heartbreaking. I was going to auditions as an actress, and not getting the jobs, and getting rejected – that was the hardest. It was really painful. It was low. I have a strong base, faith and family.”
Nicole’s loved ones instilled her with a strong character and always told her not to let life get her down. As a result, the talented star leant from the negative events life threw at her, and grew to be the well-rounded and successful person she is today.
“But I was taught that what doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger,” she added.
