The former Pussycat Doll co-hosts the talent show with Steve Jones and said that she is just waiting for the time when she can showcase her own vocal talents.
Talking to Star magazine, she said, 'Will I be singing? Definitely. I'd perform every week if I had my say.'
But for now, it is her duty to help the contestants achieve their dreams.
'I plan to be there to encourage and empower and nurture the artists,' she promised.
The 32-year-old added that there is no competition between her and fellow judges Cheryl Cole and Paula Abdul when it comes to fashion.
'We are three such different women. We are all individuals. There's so much room for us all,' she said.
'We're at the beginning of the process, so you want to look and feel your best. The days are really long so you want to keep it smart-casual. When we get to the live shows, I'll up my game.'
