Nicole Scherzinger is relaxed about having kids because there's always the option of "freezing your eggs".
The 34-year-old singer is currently in a relationship with Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton, who is seven years her junior.
The former Pussycat Doll has been busy with her stint as a judge on the UK X Factor and stresses her career is the most important thing for her right now.
"I'm not getting any younger. I don't want to have kids now, though," she told Marie Claire.
"Five years might be a good time to look at having children but whenever it's meant to happen is when it will happen. Right now, I'm focusing on my career. I see lots of women having beautiful children later in life. And, if not, just freeze your eggs!"
Nicole and Lewis' romance has been on-off recently, with rumours surfacing the beauty had been spotted canoodling with singer Chris Brown in a nightclub.
However, Nicole denies the gossip and says things between her and Lewis are better than ever.
"I've known Chris since he started in the business. He's like a little brother. He's one of the most talented people in the industry," she explained.
"Lewis and I are a team and we're really there for each other, and the time we spend together I do cherish. It's separate from everything else."
