Overview
The Pussycat Dolls singer made a cameo appearance last night on US hit comedy How I Met Your Mother playing Jessica Glitter – Robin’s former best friend and co-star from their years together performing in Canadian kids' show Space Teens.
In the episode, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) discovers a long-lost video of the children’s show and plays it to the rest of the gang.
And although Robin claims the video is harmless kids’ fun, the boys are left tittering at the show’s unintentional double entendres, especially at the lyrics of The Beaver Song, which includes the line, ‘Two beavers are better than one’.
The episode also featured Robin (played by Cobie Smulders) and Jessica (Scherzinger) bouncing in slow motion, talking about their pet beavers and wrestling with a suggestively shaped joystick to solve maths problems.
