Nicole Scherzinger wants to work with Simon Cowell

Nicole put on a stunning performance on yesterday's X Factor and sang again today on ITV's Daybreak.

In a chat with presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley today, she talked about the killer performance.

The former X Factor guest judge said: 'It was so well received after I judged, I wanted to make sure I didn't let anyone down and I have never put more into any performance in my life.'

The 32-year-old added: 'Not that it is a disclaimer or anything but I had tonsillitis this week, so I was really nervous about my voice.'

The Poison singer, whose boyfriend F1 driver Lewis Hamilton was there to support her last night,

didn't confirm or deny reports that she will judge on the new US X Factor, but admitted she did enjoy working with the the media mogul.

She added: 'If Simon calls me up and asks me it's something that I really would have to have a think about because it's a huge commitment, something I have really got to take seriously and kind of see where I want to go with my music and stuff you know.

'He's kind of not bad luck to be around and he kind of brings out the best in people, so you never know.'
