Metallica have proven a controversial choice to headline Glastonbury 2014, with many festival-goers and critics taking issue with the place of heavy metal at Glastonbury - while others have opposed frontman James Hetfield's apparent support of bear hunting.
But, Metallica seemed to have taken it all in good humour - selling an official t-shirt of quotes slagging them off at Glasto. It comes in two colours (black and white) and looks like this (see above)
"I can't wait to hear that guy play the drums again - unbelievably bad," said multi-instrumentalist Barry Burns. "He's terrible."
Singer Stuart Braitwaite continued: "I just can't wait until we go all quiet and you can hear 'Enter Sandman' in the background, because we're on at the same time. I don't really see the fuss. They're a pretty big rock band and it's a pretty big rock festival.
"It would be good if they could go back in time to 1989. Metallica at Glastonbury in 1989
When put to the band their booking had proven controversial, drummer Martin Bulloch added: "Because they're shite."
