Paris Hilton fires `pervert assistant` over porn connection

The scenes aired on Wednesday night's episode of Paris's new Oxygen reality show The World According To Paris and led to a showdown in which Lexie was fired.

'Lexie promised me weeks ago that she would quit her side job writing porn and only work for me,' Paris, 30, told viewers before turning detective.

'Would she really jeopardise her job to be some sicko?'

Hiding behind a large floppy hat and huge shades, Paris and her gang made their way to a hair salon where Lexie was supposed to be having an appointment.

They opted to ride in a friend's low-key black Mercedes rather that the wealthy socialite's bright pink Bentley.

After following the employee into a nondescript office block, Paris's pal Jen took some damning undercover footage showing porn posters adorning the walls.

Unfortunately, paparazzi spotted Paris in the car outside the Digital Playground building, which later sparked online rumours about a false association with porn.

The events led to an inevitable showdown between the furious reality TV star and her assistant, whom she had earlier branded a 'pervert'.

Lexie initially denied continuing her career writing adult entertainment screenplays and claimed she'd been visiting an aunt who is also an employee at the porn firm.

But Paris was less than impressed and issued her marching orders.

'That whole sex tape scandal was absolutely the worst thing that happened to me and the fact that Lexie knew that and still chose to lie to me about her association with that company,' she told viewers.

Leaving Lexie in tears, Paris said, 'I can't have someone who works for me associated with that company in any way, so today will be your last day. I'm sorry.'
