Paris Hilton promises to show her `real` self in new series

The 29-year-old is set to star in new reality TV show The World According to Paris, and says it is very different to anything she has previously done.

She said: 'It's a show like I've never done before. I'm really letting cameras into my real life, and it's just a really all-access pass into what goes on.'

The show is expected to start on US TV network Oxygen, and Paris added that she is looking forward to just being herself this time.

The hotel heiress said: 'When I did The Simple Life I was playing a character that I had created and I had no idea it would last so many series, so I had to continue doing that character, so I think people assume that's really how I am.

'But when they see this new show they're going to see the real me.'

Hilton says cameras follow her round everywhere, even if her and boyfriend Cy Waits decide to go on a date.

Paris added to Etonline.com: 'He's very shy, so this is all very new to him, but he loves me so much and supports me.'

The show also features Hilton's mother Kathy Hilton and pal Brooke Mueller.
