Paris Hilton says `hero` boyfriend Cy Waits `saved my life`

Hilton was on Ellen DeGeneres' TV show in the US when she spoke of her love for Cy, proudly saying they have been dating for a year.

And she made it clear that the bravery he showed when someone allegedly broke into her apartment helped cement those feelings.

'I'm really happy. He's just so loyal and protective of me - and he saved my life. He's my hero,' she told Ellen.

'I got burglarised a few months ago with this guy who came in with two huge knives and Cy stopped him.

'He's just so loyal and amazing, he's my best friend. He treats me like a princess and he bought me a car for my birthday,' she said, referring to a $375,000 Lexus LFA sports car.

She also confirmed that Charlie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller is filming with her on her new reality TV show - but refused to dish on just what she says about the Charlie drama.

'Let's just say there's a lot of drama on the show,' Paris said, refusing to go into more detail.

'It's a surprise - it's really good, there's a lot that happens.'
