Paris Hilton: The meaning of life is kids

The heiress has opened up about her desire to be a mum, declaring: “I think having kids is the meaning of life.”

Hilton, who has three younger siblings, is intent on having more than one child, saying: 'I definitely want to have a couple of kids when I do because being an only child is hard and I always loved growing up with a big family.'

The 29-year-old has been getting into the swing of family life with her boyfriend Cy Waits and his seven-year-old daughter Shae.

'Shae is such a sweet, beautiful little girl. She is so smart. Shae is Cy's daughter, and she is amazing and I love her so much,” Hilton told Radar Online.

The socialite says she has lots in common with her new “best friend”.

'She is an animal lover like me. She is smart, she is very mature ... We love going to the pet store and playing with animals ... going to Circus Circus, going on rides and playing games. It's fun, it's like having a little best friend.'

On the agenda of the trio when they get together?

'We cook dinner at home. We play with all the bunnies in the backyard. We do normal things like go to the movies, and relax and just get her ready for school,” Hilton said. 'It's definitely a different pace but I'm really enjoying and loving it.'
