Paris Hilton believes "winners wake up and work hard" to achieve their goals.
The 32-year-old socialite-turned-entrepreneur is the great-granddaughter of American hotel magnate Conrad Hilton and could have easily sat on the multibillion-dollar fortune he built for her family.
Instead she spun her name into a successful brand, launching her own lines of perfumes, handbags, footwear, stationary, bedding watches and other fashion and beauty products.
Business Insider reported in 2011 the star was earning a cool $10 million a year from 17 different product lines.
So it's little surprise she has a low tolerance for others who aren't as driven.
"While most are dreaming of success, winners wake-up and work hard to achieve it," she tweeted her 10 million-plus followers on Monday.
The socialite seemed to be feeling inspired throughout the day.
Earlier she posted a quote from The Notebook actress Sasha Azevedo.
"Too many people go through life waiting for things to happen instead of making them happen!" she wrote.
Of course, there will always be the infamous sex tape which some critics argue is the real reason Paris catapulted to fame.
The tape featured Paris in bed with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon. She admitted to Piers Morgan being involved in the scandal is not the legacy she wants to leave behind.
"I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life and explain it to my children. And it's something that's changed my life forever and I'll never be able to erase it," she once told the British news anchor.
Paris has moved on from the scandal and is now enjoying a romance with model River Viiperi.
