Paul Weller closed the Oxegen festival in style with a series of hits from his back catalogue on the NME Stage last night.
The Modfather, who was dressed all in black throughout his 90 minute set, played a host of hits from his classic 'Wild Wood' and 'Stanley Road' albums including 'Broken Stones', 'Changing Man', and 'Foot Of The Mountain' alongside tracks from his latest album 'As Is Now'.
In between each song there were chants of Weller! Weller! from the crowd while former Jam singer showed his appreciation by constantly raising his glass to the fans.
Towards the end of the show, Weller received a massive cheer when he got behind the piano for a heartwarming rendition of 'You Do Something To Me'.
And he sent the crowd into a wild frenzy at the close of the set when he surprised them with The Jam classic 'Town Called Malice'.
Weller played:
'From The Floorboards Up'
'Paper Smile'
'Out Of The Sinking'
'Peacock Suit'
'Running On The Spot'
'Above The Clouds'
'I Wanna Make It Alright'
'Porcelain Gods/Splinters'
'Wild Wood'
'Up In Suzes' Room'
'Savages/Fly Little Bird'
'Come On/Let's Go'
'In The Crowd'
'You Do Something To Me'
'Broken Stones'
'Changing Man'
'Foot Of The Mountain'
'Town Called Malice'
