Paul Weller has said he would like to collaborate with Miles Kane in a new interview.
Speaking to the NME, Weller called Kane a “Talented lad”, continuing he added ''I'd like to do something with young Miles Kane. I think he's a talented lad and we could do something good together.''
Releasing his eleventh solo album ‘Sonik Kicks’ later this month, Weller also spoke in the interview about his song writing methods. Commenting that they have never changed, Weller said:
“I don't think it's changed, I don't think it's ever been any different, it's still kind quite ad hoc. Sometimes I'll sit down and play a song straight off and sometimes I'll just have fragments of ideas which take time to process. I don't think it's changed too much."
Weller’s new album features fourteen tracks including collaborations with Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon. Playing at London’s Roundhouse on March 18 and 19, he will play ‘Sonik Kicks’ in its entirety.
