Paul Weller marries backing singer

The British rock star and backing singer Hannah Andrews got engaged back in April, and wed in an intimate ceremony in the glamorous destination of Capri, Italy, last week.

Much had been made of the pair’s relationship because Hannah is considerably younger than 52-year-old Paul, who has been married before and has grown-up children.

The wedding was very low-key, with the guest list comprising of just a few family members and close friends as the couple didn’t want to make a fuss.

"Paul didn't want a public wedding. He and Hannah agreed to just invite a select few family and friends,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"They didn't want to make a big deal about it."

Paul was previously married to Dee C. Lee, a backing singer with his band Style Council, although they divorced in 1994 having had two children together; Leah and Nathaniel. The musician then had a long-term relationship with Samantha Stock and they had two children together, Jesamine and Stevie Mac, before splitting in 2008. Paul also has another child, a daughter called Dylan, from a short-lasting romance.
