Paul Weller has reportedly got engaged to his girlfriend Hannah Andrews.
The musician sparked rumours he is planning to marry backing singer Hannah after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger as they left Glasgow airport earlier this week.
A friend said: "He's besotted with Hannah."
Paul recently opened his heart about Hannah - who at 24, is 27 years younger than him - calling her his "soulmate".
He said: "It's funny to think that after all these years I've finally met my soulmate - and at my age. All I can say is that I am very, very much in love."
He added: "Because she's so much younger than me, the press was all, it's a midlife crisis – 'Wrinkly Rocker', 'Mutton dressed up as ram', 'Old enough to be her 'Modfather', but it isn't like that. We're really in love and that's that."
The couple have been living in London since 2008 after meeting when she lent backing vocals to his album '22 Dreams' and they subsequently toured together in support of the album.
Paul has five children by three previous partners - Natt, 22, and 18-year-old Leah from his marriage to backing singer Dee C Lee which ended in 1994, a 14-year-old daughter Dylan from a short relationship with a make-up artist and two children, Jesamine, 10, and Stevie Mac, four by his last partner Samantha Stock, who he left for Hannah just before Christmas in 2008.
A spokesperson for Paul said there is "no official comment" on the star's marriage plans.
