Absolute Radio and Abbey Road Studios are giving listeners a money can't buy opportunity to see Paul Weller for the second in a series of music events – The Abbey Road Acoustic Sessions with Absolute Radio.
Studio Three at Abbey Road Studios, which will host the session with the musical legend on 29th May, is perhaps best known as the location of many of Pink Floyd's great recordings and more recently recordings from Florence and the Machine, Paul McCartney and the final recording by Amy Winehouse. Future sessions over the next twelve months will feature both signed and unsigned bands performing in front of a small audience in the studios and a specially refurbished space in the studios bar.
Listeners will be given the chance to win tickets to the event through Absolute Radio. The session will played out on Absolute Radio as a Sunday Night Music Special and will include a Q&A session with the audience.
Absolute Radio Hometime show host Geoff Lloyd said "This is the easily the hottest ticket in town. As well as being a British icon, Mr Weller's a dapper man so I'm off to have my suit dry cleaned so I'm not shown up!"
