Bob Seger has ended his hold out against the digital world....to an extent. For the first time, Seger music will be available for download from digital retailers, but it is only the newly updated versions of the Live Bullet and Nine Tonight live albums along with Early Seger, Volume 1.
Don't worry, the rest is coming, but the rocker has decided to let things out in "dribs and drabs."
Metallica will perform for the first time in the United Arab Emirates when they play Abu Dhabi next month. The band said in a statement "We're continuing to find firsts in 2011 as we are extremely excited to announce that we will be playing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, next month on October 25 at Yas Island. After 30 years of travel to all corners of the earth, this one is extra special as the show kicks off a week of new territories for us."
Tony Bennett will make his career debut at the Metropolitan Opera House this Sunday night where he will be joined for duets by Aretha Franklin, Elton John and Alejandro Sanz.
Dinosaur, Jr. and Henry Rollins are going out for a short tour of the west coast in December. The band will be playing their album Bug in its entirety while Rollins interviews the band before each performance.

The executors of Michael Jackson's estate have made $310 million in gross revenues since his passing, so they've decided to pass a little along to Katherine Jackson and Michael's three children, to the tune of $30 million.
The executors have also asked the court for permission to sell the family home in Encino, CA. Katherine, who is the guardian for the children, would like the money to buy the Calabasas home where they currently reside.
Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Don Wayne passed away Monday evening from cancer. He was 78.
Among Wayne's songs are Saginaw, Michigan (recorded by Lefty Frizzell), Country Bumpkin and It's Time to Pay the Fiddler (Cal Smith) and Walk Tall (Faron Young).
