Fast becoming one of the UK¹s most successful independent outdoor summer events, not to mention the most family friendly, Wychwood Music Festival is delighted to announce even more amazingly diverse acts for its fifth anniversary year. Wychwood will once again take place at the prestigious Cheltenham Racecourse from Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May 2009, set to the backdrop of the rolling Prestbury Hills.

The first of Wychwood¹s Big Top headliners has been confirmed as Jo Whiley favourites and one of NME¹s ³Hottest new bands of 2009² Red Light Company, who are confirmed for Sunday¹s line-up. Also performing under the canvass this year will be rising singer-songwriter Ella Edmondson on the Friday followed on Saturday by The Bad Shepherds, a folk-come-punk project featuring her father and The Young Ones/Bottom star Adrian Edmondson.
