Red Light Company release new single

Red Light Company release a new single, Scheme Eugene, through Lavolta Records on Monday 3rd November. Scheme Eugene is the follow-up to the limited edition, Radio One playlisted single Meccano.

The single will be available on limited edition 7" vinyl, CD & download (available November 2nd) and will include the bonus songs Bahnhof Zoo, a remix of Scheme Eugene by James Yuill and acoustic and demo versions of Scheme Eugene.

Vocalist and guitarist Richard Frenneaux describes Scheme Eugene- "the song reflects my attraction, and the natural human fascination, with the darker side of life - it's a song partly inspired by the film Christiane F and partly inspired by a car crash relationship between a boy with an addiction to sex and a girl with an addiction to drugs."

RLC have been touring constantly during 2008 including support shows with Glasvegas, Editors and Elliot Minor, two headline tours of the UK and appearances at the Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Wireless and Rockness festivals. The band have announced the following shows, including an appearance at The BBC Electric Proms on the 25th October.
