Robbie Williams has reportedly instructed his lawyers to prepare him a pre-nuptial agreement.
The 'Bodies' singer has decided to get the legal arrangement – which is a contract stating how assets are distributed should a couple divorce - ahead of his marriage to his actress fiancee Ayda Field in case things don't work out.
A source said: "They're head over heels in love with each other but are realistic about the pressures of a celebrity marriage. Both their parents are divorced and they can't be bothered to risk time, money and heartache so they think a pre-nup is essential."
The 36-year-old pop star is desperate to tie the knot and is believed to be planning to wed Ayda, 30, in an intimate ceremony at the end of the year.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "They don't want a huge showbiz wedding with glossy magazines in attendance and flashbulbs going off. So it is vitally important to both of them that it stays private with only a handful of people knowing where and when the event will be."
