Take That were forced to cancel their performance in Copenhagen, Denmark, last weekend when Robbie fell ill after eating ‘dodgy lobster’ in a hotel.
Now on the road to recovery, he said that the bug has left him feeling ‘zapped’ but significantly lighter.
'Can walk and talk but still feel zapped,” he wrote on his blog. “What a thoroughly unpleasant ride that was.
“The dramatic weight loss has been an unexpected bonus.'
But he said that his bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange, were ‘beside themselves’ over having to cancel a show for the first time ever.
He said: 'The pride in their work ethic is second to none. They've never cancelled a gig in the whole of their careers and they were absolutely beside themselves with worry and frustration about not being able to fulfil their duty to the fans.'
