The Take That star hinted that he had had some kind of spiritual awakening, and said that he now regrets singing 'Jesus didn't die for you' in his solo track Bodies, because he doesn't think it is true anymore.
Taking to his blog, he wrote, 'I haven't found God or anything like that but she just might have found me. My truths are ever changing. If you've been following me closely, I have said that Bodies was 'gibberish'.
'The gibberish I refer to is the Jesus bit. I mean, who the f*** am I?
'It made sense to me at the time… but it doesn't now. Am I allowed a change of heart? I'm gutted though, 'cos singing that song now doesn't seem right… I may have to change the lyric for the next tour.'
The 37-year-old, who has previously battled depression, said that his life seems to be taking a more positive direction, especially since he hit the road on a reunion tour with Take That.
'A big one for me was the fact that being 40 isn't too far away,' he said. 'I don't have the time any more to treat myself the way I did. Things had to change. I can choose happy - what a gift.'
