The Take That singer admits he now feels "silly" singing his hit 'Bodies' ' which features the line "Jesus didn't die for you" ' because his views on religion and spiritualism have changed.
He said: "My truths are ever changing. If you've been following me closely I have said that 'Bodies' was 'gibberish'. The gibberish I refer to is the Jesus bit. I mean, who the f**k am I?
"It made sense to me at the time. but it doesn't now. Am I allowed a change of heart?
"I'm gutted though 'cos singing that song now doesn't seem right. I may have to change the lyric for the next tour.
"I haven't found God or anything like that but she just might have found me.(sic)"
The 37-year-old singer ' who has previously battled depression and addictions to alcohol and drugs ' also revealed he has finally learned to be "happy" and not get upset by criticism.
He wrote on his blog: "I've nearly filled the whole (sic) where criticism used to be. feels mighty. Who knew that it was a choice to take it on board or not?
"I kind of did but didn't believe in my own strength. As for service to others, I do bits and then retreat. I hope as I mature this changes.
"We do get 'hard wired' to believe certain things about our selfs (sic), negative, soul/life destroying stuff and when you believe your hard wiring that chasm seems impossible to get out of. It isn't. It's a choice.
"In the past year some sort of vail (sic) has dropped for me revealing a beautiful truth but it's taken a lot of vigilance. catching old negative thoughts and batting them away minute after minute, day after day.
"A big one for me was the fact that being 40 isn't too far away. I don't have the time any more to treat myself the way I did. Things had to change. I can choose happy ' What a gift."
