Robbie Williams has said he has no plans to become an X Factor judge like his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow.
Williams helped Barlow select his final four boys for the programme during filming in Los Angeles recently.
But in an interview with The Sun, he said he didn't want his appearance to become more permanent.
"I would like to be in his (Gary's) position for one night, but not four months,” he said. "What's the point when I could be at home with the dogs? I didn't get in this game to work."
Williams praised Barlow's role on the show, saying he “speaks with authority”.
The singer is seen with Barlow during the judges' houses stage of the competition. The X Factor airs every Saturday.
