Robbie Williams says children are "on the way" for him and his girlfriend.
The 'Bodies' singer claims Ayda Field – who he has been dating since January 2007 - helped him turn his back on his womanising ways and he can't wait to start a family with the American actress.
He told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I was always thinking, 'How am I going to keep the old chap in the pants?' But Ayda and me are very loved up – kids on the way and all that business.
"Ayda wants to get married. I believe that I want to make her happy. I've kind of been putting back the children thing, but that will happen in the next couple of years."
The 35-year-old star has been living in Los Angeles but moved back to his native UK earlier this year. Robbie says finding his dream home triggered his desire to become a father.
He explained: "We went to Wiltshire and Ayda and I were looking at places to rent there. Then we saw this house and it was gorgeous. And we walked in and the thought of having kids just hit us.
"We can see the kids running around the halls and all that business. We did a proper impulse buy."
Robbie and Ayda, 30, are planning to return to the US after he finishes promoting his new album 'Reality Killed the Video Star' and the singer would be happy to raise a family in America.
He explained: "I am English through and through, but I can put up with American accents with our kids when they come. It'll be something I get my head round."
The former Take That star would like to keep a base in Britain but despite his massive successes, he claims he will have to sell his current home.
He said: "I can't really afford to keep it. Maintenance is a lot. I've done a few impulse buys and it leaves you with no money."
