Robbie Williams is to become a father for the second time.
The former Take That star and his wife Ayda Field are already parents to 19-month-old daughter Theodora Rose. He has now confirmed they will be welcoming another tot into their family.
"Ayda and I are delighted to announce that Theodora Rose Williams is going to be a big sister. RW xxx (sic)," he wrote on Twitter.
No further information, such as when the baby will be welcomed into the world, has been revealed.
Fans of the 40-year-old singer were thrilled to hear the news and flocked to the social networking site to wish the star congratulations. In less than an hour Robbie's message had already been retweeted over two thousand times.
The star married Ayda in August 2010 and has always been open about wanting a family with her. He has called his daughter "wonderful" in the past and admitted having her made him realise how much he wants more children.
However, that doesn't mean he didn't worry about fatherhood initially.
"I know it's very natural to keep saying, 'It's a miracle, she's a f**king miracle,' but she is.
"When Ayda was first pregnant we'd have a week of me saying, 'I didn't want this. You f**king wanted this.' But that was me just being scared," he told British newspaper The Sun previously. "There have been times when I've wanted to run off. I will admit that. I start to think, 'I'm not old enough for this and I'm still a kid myself,' but I work it out.
"I don't think Ayda understands my worries sometimes. I told her I needed to change a few nappies to get my anxiety levels down."
