Overview
The 37-year-old singer is said to be in talks to become a judge on the new BBC show, just weeks after it was announced that his Take That band mate Gary Barlow is joining the judging panel on rival ITV show, the X Factor.
A source told UK newspaper The Sun: 'They still have a healthy rivalry and this would kick in if they were on opposing shows.'
An insider at the BBC added: 'Robbie would be great, particularly with his rivalry with Gary.'
Chart-topper Adele is also being tipped for a role as a judge on the Beeb’s new show.
