The 37-year-old singer has decided to call the 'heritage feel' label Farrell, in honour of his grandfather Jack Farrell, and has taken inspiration from the high-quality tailoring found in London's exclusive Savile Row.
According to his website, the range – which features a Crombie ¾ length coat, a button shawl collar dinner jacket in herringbone and tailored trousers – gives a modern twist to old classics, with the emphasis being on design rather than branding and logos.
It also includes accessories such as flat caps and polka dot scarves, and prices start at £35 for a lightweight T-shirt and go up to £350 for a woollen Crombie.
The brand will be available from September 2011 and will be stocked exclusively in the UK's House of Fraser stores and online at Shopdirect.com.
