The 20-year-old singer admitted that men might worry about ending up on her album, but insisted they should have got used to the idea by now.
'This is the third album that I've been doing this, so they had fair warning at this point,' she told US chat show host David Letterman.
Swift, who previously dated Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, told Letterman it took her more than two years to pen new album Speak Now, because she wrote the tracks on her own.
'One of the things I'm really proud about on this CD – I wrote it by myself without any co-writers,' she smiled.
'For two years I was living life and I kind of write it real time. I wrote these moments in time. The songs are written when I'm feeling what it is I'm discussing in the song. It's all kind of done when it's happening.'
Swift, who appeared on Letterman's chat show wearing a bright yellow dress, has been romantically linked to Jake Gyllenhaal in recent tabloid reports.
The pair reportedly spent the weekend together in New York – and even went apple picking.
